The travel magazine Time Out has announced its list of the 44 most beautiful destinations on the planet, based on nominations from its team of journalists and travel writers around the world. Ha Giang and Hoi An in Vietnam were also included on the list, ranking 10th and 44th, respectively.
Ha Giang impressed Time Out with its winding mountain passes such as Tham Ma Pass and Ma Pi Leng Pass, along with the dramatic mountain landscapes of La Si (Ngam La Commune). The region is known for its raw yet captivating beauty, where people and nature have remained closely connected over time. According to the magazineu2019s recommendation, the best time to visit Ha Giang is from April to May or September to October, when the weather is dry and there are fewer tourists.
Hoi An, on the other hand, leaves a lasting impression with its ancient charm and slow-paced life along the Thu Bon River. Timeworn streets, silk lanterns hanging from house fronts, and a peaceful atmosphere make it a unique destination in the eyes of international traveler
