According to data from Google Destination Insights, searches for accommodation in Vietnam increased by 30u201345% in the first half of February 2025, with the United States leading the market.
From late November 2024 to the end of January 2025, the increase ranged from 15 - 30% compared to the same period last year. In addition to the United States, the countries with the highest travel searches for Vietnam include Australia, India, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, and Malaysia, with Australia and India ranking second and third respectively.
The most searched destinations include Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Hoi An, Da Lat, Phan Thiet, Hue, and Vung Tau.
In January 2025 alone, Vietnam welcomed nearly 2.1 million international visitors, a significant increase compared to the previous month and the same period in previous years. The tourism industry has benefited from more open visa policies, effective promotional campaigns, and increasingly diverse tourism products.
